Learning about Linear Guides
Learning about Linear Guides
We can see applications of linear guides everywhere in our daily life, starting from the small robotic arms used in medical treatments up to large aircraft landing gear, MRT gates mechanism, and so forth.
AS the key part to precision instruments, linear guides are widely used in all types of precision machinery, automation, and power transmission, and semiconductor, medical and aerospace industries.
With the rising environmental consciousness in the 21st century, all types of industrial products are moving towards the development trends of environmental protection, energy saving and high efficiency. One can observe the trends towards high-speed, high-precision, integration, energy-saving and environmental protection in the three largest machine tool exhibitions (EMO, CHICAGO SHOW, and JIMTOF) between 1990 and 1999.
OME Technology is proud to lead the industry by introducing energy conservation and environmental protection and by producing the highest quality service to provide the maximum benefit for our customers.

Structure and material
The structure and materials of linear guides are basically composed of the two large parts of guide and slides. They are made of carbon and alloy steel respectively.

After the guides and sliders are heat processes, with surface hardness reaching HRC 58 degrees or above, they are made into high quality products after precision grinding process.

Function and Application
It functions and applications are mainly to provide linear motion in mechanical devices, such as the linear inputs to cutting and milling machine tools; mechanical arms; XY TABLE; semiconductor machinery; medical equipment and industrial machinery precision linear movements.
